My least favorite season of the year is summer. Everyone here seems to be enjoying the summer heat except me. I really cant stand the heat. While writing this I am sweating. Gross! Let me give you some reasons why summer is my least favorite.

  • Productivity – I can’t function when every time I do something I sweat.  It’s great if I sweat when I exercise but while doing work on my computer or just by photographing food or washing dishes it’s not really convenient. Instead of doing a lot of things, I tend to just stay in my room where I don’t get direct sunlight.
  • Electricity Bill – I was shocked when I saw this month’s bill (I still pretend I’m shocked). Every time the summer sets in, the company who handles the electricity wants more money. They also threatened the public of power shutdown. They kept saying that the energy is thinning out. Lol seriously! Why not prepare ahead of time to avoid this situation every single year?
  • Mood – Always Irritated. The End.

Fruits are abundant during summer time, I have one good reason to like summer. I can make smoothies and fresh juice. This is also the perfect time to eat halo-halo. YUM!

  • 3 bananas
  • 1 ripe mango
  • 2 oranges, juice only
  1. Put the mango, bananas, and orange juice into a blender and add few ice cubes. Process until smooth. Decorate with chocolate wafer sticks.
